A very fond thank you to the People of God of St. John the Baptist Cathedral who possessed the Spirit to answer the call whenever it went out. To ail who came forth and gave of their time, their talents, and their wealth to meet the need as it arose and to those who will do so in the years to come. To those who were present at the conception of the idea, to those who offered suggestions and assistance in the interim, and to those who came forward for the completion of the task.

Today we celebrate the culmination of all our efforts as we gather together for all to see. As we, the People of God of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cathedral consecrate our new House of God.

A special thank you to Sister Elaine Kisinko for her research and assistance in the preparation of the text on the saints depicted on the icon murals.

And to Mr. Leonard Stagon, completing this book would not have been possible without his marvelous photographs that chronicled the construction of St. John's Cathedral.

To Mr. Grant Scott and his associates at Kingsland Scott Bauer Havekotte Architects for sharing the inspirations and research that went into their conceptual document.

To the Supreme National Officers and the membership of the Greek Catholic Union for their donation that provided the beautiful invitations that were sent to all announcing the Consecration of the new St. John the Baptist Cathedral.

"It is by grace that you have been saved, through faith; not by anything of your own, but a gift from God; not by anything that you have done, so that nobody can claim the credit." Ephesians 2:8-10
